If I only had a brain...

the nerve, a heart...well 2 out of 3 ain't bad huh? As a lifelong learner and "professional" educator, I am always amazed at how some learners, I mean people, just don't get children?

If you want to teach, as Covey says in the 5th habit, I'm paraphrasing closely, " 1st seek to understand, then to be understood."

It is really not that hard - or perhaps it's me? This is why I wonder aloud sometimes, as did the Scarecrow, if, "I only had a brain?"
